Friday Random: Blame it on the a, a, a, a aaa alcohol.

It is sweet! I feel like this a lot.

I sort of want to buy this sign, it's at Hobby Lobby. Is that dorky?

Don't answer I know it is. I've figured out that I'm not very hip.

You know why?

I don't think I like whip cream vodka.

I bought some to make something like this drink, but no champagne and a couple other ingredients. FYI whip cream curdles with alcohol. It's not pretty. I thought that was turning me off about the vodka.

Turns out I don't like it in anything. I've tried it, in lots of things.

Well not in this drink which I also thought I'd make, but I haven't because there's too many other liquors to buy and I don't want to spend any more money on alcohol that I won't drink. I'll just wait for someone to make it for me.

I think of whip cream vodka like I do these shoes:

They're spunky, with some practicality (as in they'll go with lot's of things),  they aren't way too over the top, and for some dang reason I want them. BUT me teetering and towering around in those 5 inchers is almost laughable. They'd sit in my closet for years at a time and get worn (with great instability) once in a blue moon.

I may long for them to suite me, but they just don't.

It's not like it hasn't been fun, mixing up concoctions. Boozey endeavors.

I think I'll just wait for my Meyer lemon limoncello to be ready. I'll sip it, and dream of towering heals and how perhaps one day I'll be hip. Until then I'm ok with buying art from Hobby Lobby and making my own hootch.

totally hilarious!  I feel the same way--have one of those whipping cans in the fridge right now--funny how my 18 year old son knows that you're not suppose to store it in the fridge, guess I'll just throw it away :)

Those are really great shoes and great artwork! I don't drink alcohol (unless you count mirin?) so I'm not very hip either, apparently. ^^:

Hah:)

My mom received a can of boozy caramel whip cream for cat sitting, and it was just about the worst thing I've ever tasted. So nasty.

Homemade limoncello sounds much better. Takes me back to my holiday in Italy, trying limoncello under all the lemon trees. The blue sky, calm breezes, and plenty of seafood pasta... ahh:)
